BMW (Bio Medical Waste Management) Biomedical Waste Management (BMW): Introduction Biomedical Waste (BMW) refers to any waste generated during the diagnosis, treatment, immunization, or research involving humans and animals. It includes hazardous materials that can pose serious health risks if not managed properly. Effective Biomedical Waste Management (BMWM) is essential to prevent infection, environmental pollution, and public health hazards. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 15-25% of total
