Unit: 10 management of Complications of Purperium Peripheral pyrexia A condition in which the body temperature increases to more than 100.4°F (38 °C) within 14 days after delivery is called “perperiral pyrexia”. Or When the oral temperature rises to 100.4°F (38°C) or higher on two separate occasions within 10 days after the first 24 hours of delivery, it is called “Peripheral pyrexia”. Etiology: unknown,Genital: Peripheral sepsis.Extra genital: ie,Urinary tract infection
